The Costa Brava is located along the Catalan coastline between the towns of Portbou and Blanes. This is a stunningly beautiful area that combines sea and mountain views and where the hills dramatically roll down toward the coast, forming spectacular cliffs that provide shelter to beaches and golden sand coves. Some of these coves are only accessible from the sea.

The Costa Brava enjoys balmy weather, with only a few rainy days and temperatures that rarely go below 0 °C temperatures in winter or over 30 °C in summer. Its clear blue skies are often swept clean of clouds by the north winds called Tramuntana by locals. Its clear waters offer a stunningly colourful spectacle and contrasts. Thanks to the combination of all of these features, the Costa Brava is without a doubt one of the most charming locations in the Mediterranean basin.

The simplicity and tranquillity of its traditional fishing towns provides a striking contrast with other towns where leisure, trade, marinas and nightlife are the pumping heart of their economic activity.

It is probably no coincidence that this combination of contrasting factors offered by the Costa Brava is the reason why it has become the number one tourist destination within Catalonia.
